Im doing this for not only my father but also to help my mom with her stress, her and my dad were together for over 50 years...Well its not such a rare story, my mom and dad only had ssi and I only make 500 a month plus an apartment. Dad fought lung cancer many years ago and God gave us more time with him then when the doctors said all we can do is give him a little more time maybe a month or two... then dad went into remission and almost 20 years later he got covid 19.... well he unbelievably walked out of the hospital but had complications from it and passed on April 15th. He was a very strong man, a hard worker, great father , and husband.
Patient, intelligent and funny. Always had a lame dad joke that made you laugh almost out of pitty, lol....I loved him alot and it breaks me up that my life didn't alow me to spend more time with him. He never got to retire at 71 - 72 years old he was still driving a semi dragging around an oxygen bottle. If you heard him try to talk you would be forced to take a DEEP breath almost for him unconsciously. He fought for every breath for the last 5 or more years. If you can help even a dollar I will be indebted., I just think he deserves a tombstone marker he at least deserves that. Thank you for reading and my advice to all is get some kind of insurance because as hard as loosing a loved one is , its a guilt ridden and much sadder experience when you feel you let them down for the last time.
