Allan's obituary
It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Allan "Al" Woodard Thompson, affectionately known to close friends and family as Al, but preferred Allan. Allan was born on June 9, 1975, and departed this life on October 17, 2024.
Allan was a beloved figure, fondly remembered for his warm, welcoming, and caring personality. He was an advocate of the golden rule, "do unto others as you'd have done upon you." His legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Known for his culinary skills, one of Allan's greatest accomplishments was cooking. His favorites included McGriddles and food he prepared at the Pilot House, a local spot he cherished. Among his most loved foods, ice-cold homemade lemonade stood out as his favorite drink.
Allan enjoyed the sounds of Metallica and was a fan of documentaries on television. His favorite movie was The Punisher. When he wasn't engaged with his favorite recreations, he spent time playing games on his phone or cheering for his favorite sports teams, the Red Sox and the Patriots.
His favorite recreational activities were being with family and friends. He loved going to the gym and his favorite vacation spot was New Hampshire, although he had aspirations to travel more. Allan was a family-oriented man, which was the cause closest to his heart. His favorite colors were blue, purple, and green.
Allan is survived by his sister Sara Thompson, his Grandmother Lois Santos, his nephew Joshua Mello, and his Aunt Johnna Santos. He gained a sibling on June 28, 1985. He was predeceased by his mother, Kelly Thompson.
