Allan's obituary
He was born in 1968 in Bay Shore, NY. In his younger years Allan moved frequently but has always considered New York home. 1988 Allan joined the Air Force and was stationed in Wells Fargo, ND, this was the start of his love of airplanes. After completing his time with the Air Force, Allan returned to New York and made what would be the most important decision of his life. He dedicated his life as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1993.This became a turning point in Allan’s life and he always enjoyed sharing his faith and love of Jehovah with all who would listen. In 1995, he moved from NY to MA and then in 1997 he was married. During this time in MA, he became a father to 3 wonderful boys. In 2004, Allan moved with his young family to Maine and although he loved the summers and the quiet life of Maine he was not afraid to say the Winter’s were too cold and too long for him. He became father again while in Maine to yet another wonderful boy, but in 2016 the family decided to return to MA where he remained until his death.
Allan is survived by his wife of 23 years Larina Vandett, and his 4 precious boys, James Vandett of Bangor, ME, Daniel Vandett, Benjamin Vandett and Luke Vandett all of Berkley, MA. He is also survived by his parents Ronald Vandett Sr and his wife Margaret Vandett of Woodstock, GA and his mother Ruth Williamson of Boyton Beach, FL. Allan also is survived by 3 siblings: sister Terese Howey of CT and her spouse, brother Ronald Vandett Jr of NY and his spouse, and sister Christina Vandett Rae of FL and her spouse. Allan is also survived by 5 nieces and 5 nephews.
Allan was loved by his family and many friends and never hesitating to help when there was a need. He will be missed by all.
