Background
Scott believed deeply in the role of independent journalism in our democracy. He regularly contributed to various public broadcasting and journalism organizations throughout his life. Especially in these times, we know he would want us all to support free, independent reporting that will keeps us informed so that our participatory government can function at it's best.
