My younger brother, Allan, was chosen for Prince Charming in Grade 1, at school. I can
still see him, just pretending to kiss the sleeping Princess. I would trim his blonde hair in to a Beatle haircut, and he told me the kids at school liked the Beatle haircut. At that same time we rode the hay wagon to bring the hay in for the cows to eat during the winter. Allan wore his little white shirt to Church and Sunday School. I will miss Al :
his humour, easy going, intelligent but fun personality. When we grew up we were
great friends, and thanks to his loved wife, Debi, who invited us to many social occasions.
Friends & Family will cherish all those times with Al, what a great guy! With Love from your sister, Verna

I’m so sorry for your loss Deb! Al always referred to himself as being “just a simple man”! We all know he was more than that! He provided Deb and the girls with a wonderful life. He was a wonderful family man and a wonderful son-in-law. Whenever Al got together with Deb’s family, he was out numbered, because it was all females. He never once complained! He loved to clown around. If Al wasn’t making faces in our family photographs, he was photo bombing them. Al, you were a wonderful son (in law). We never once in over 35 years had a cross word. You were always there for us when we needed you. I cannot express how much I will miss you and your emails on special occasions. In my mind, you were one of a kind! Love, your mother-in-law, Carol (You’ll always have a place in my heart)
