Allan's obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Michael Cecile on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan. Born in Windsor, Canada, to Denis and Nan Cecile, Allan was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend.
Growing up alongside his older brother, Brian, and younger sister, Denise, Allan developed a love for sports early on, particularly hockey. His talent on the ice was evident, earning him an invitation to try out for the Pittsburgh Penguins, a testament to his dedication and skill. Allan attended St. Clair College, where he earned a business degree, laying the foundation for a successful career.
His professional journey took him to CKLW, a position that ultimately led him to Michigan. In Michigan, Allan built a beautiful family with his wife, Donna, and her two children, Troy and Amber. Together, they had another son Joshua, and Allan was an enthusiastic coach and mentor on the ice, sharing his passion for hockey and life with his children and friends.
After retiring from Les Stanford Cadillac as a salesperson, Allan enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—relaxing in his favorite recliner and cheering on his cherished teams, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit Lions. He was a man of unwavering integrity, kindness, and honesty, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.
Allan will be fondly remembered for his generous spirit, his love for family and friends, and his remarkable character. He leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and integrity that will be cherished forever.
