Allan's obituary
Allan Henry Armour
passed away on August 9, 2025, in Livonia, Michigan, at the age of 67 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Detroit, Allan was the son of the late Sue Carol (Makowski) Armour and Leo Henry Armour. He was the devoted husband of Gina Marie Armour, with whom he shared a love and bond unlike any other. He was also a proud stepfather to Ryan Wolters, TJ Cray, and Alicia Croft.
Allan’s circle of love extended to his close cousins Paul and Cindy Bersok, his lifelong friends including Frank Rauhl, Matt Murphy, Darrel Gray, Chucky Hoag, and “all his peeps at the park,” who brought him joy and laughter throughout his life.
A graduate of Plymouth Salem High School, Class of 1976, Allan went on to attend Eastern Michigan University. He worked many years as a machinist at Ford Motor Company, where he was respected for his skill and dedication.
Allan lived life with passion. He was a proud Freemason, an avid fan of the Detroit Lions, and loved spending weekends at the drag races in Milan. Those who knew him will remember him for his kindness, humor, strength, and generosity — qualities that defined him and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
