We were friends for forty years.  Thanks to covoid, we’d not gotten together for several years.  Had no idea she was so ill.   Think of her often and miss her.  She was a very special woman!
Although our marriage ended not a day goes by that I don't remember the good times we had together. Libby was a true friend, companion, and teacher always encouraging others to be the best they could be. She helped guide me thru the many pitfalls of becoming a commercial pilot. I will be forever grateful. Thank You Libby! Blue Skies and Tailwinds!
We were truly sorry to hear of Libby's passing. I have know Libby since the early 90's. she was always helpful and kind and loved life. she enjoyed riding motorcycles and good food. she will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Libby’s passing. She was quite a vibrant person and someone who was very good to me, personally. I first met Libby when I was hired at IASCO flying Cessna 404’s flying night freight. We were thrown together as the first two women working in a male dominated field but doing something we both loved, flying airplanes. Libby was always a larger than life personality and lived life to the fullest. I watched her achieve great heights in her aviation career as well as in many other endeavors. She used to love to make the rounds on weekends at yard sales. Coming home to a ladies crash pad providing three lady pilot roommates with three wrecked bikes that she proceeded to repair and make viable. I remember how much she loved and helped her family and friends, myself included. When Jan Martin and I were both furloughed from IASCO, she provided the roof over our heads until both Jan and I could manage to find other ways to contribute.

Libby was a Renaissance Woman. She could fly a jet, make a great meal, sell a home, train a horse, play a good hand of poker, all while being the life of the party. Libby was responsible for encouraging me at a time when I needed it......I will be forever grateful.

My heartfelt sympathies to Libby’s near and dear family and friends.
