Alison Nicole Matthes aged 52, from Norcross GA. ,  passed away on May 14, 2025 after a short but devastating battle with throat cancer. She was born on April 8, 1973, the second daughter of  James and Betty Lou Matthes.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Matthes and grandmother Zula Matthes. She is survived by her mother Betty Lou Matthes of Norcross GA. and her sister Amy Matthes of Smyrna GA., her cats Mitzi and Otto, and her extended family of several cousins. 

A celebration of life will be held for Alison at  Northwest Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1025 Mount Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA. 30327,  Saturday August 9, 2025 from 2-4 pm. 

We would like to encourage anyone joining the memorial to share their stories and memories of Alison at the service.
