Having moved from Massachusetts to "out west" when I was very young, I never grew up around extended family. Then Alison and Sam dropped like an atom bomb into our lives. They quite literally swept us off our feet. I'm so happy that our three children were able to grow up around Auntie Muffin and Uncle Sam. The two of them together gave my kids something that I missed growing up - history. I am so grateful to you both. We love and adore you - Kenny, Laurie, Katherine, Michael, and Christian Quartermain
