Alicja Maria Kebetz, age 82, passed away on January 16, 2019, at Henry Ford Hospital Detroit. She was born January 24, 1936 in Odolanow, Poland, the daughter of Henryk and Janina (nee: Mikulska) Spionek.

Sixty years ago she received her doctorate in the field of medicine at the Medical University of Lodz, and practiced medicine for decades. In December 1979 she immigrated to the United States of America, and was followed by her two children, Marlena and Marek, in the following years.

She was a strong, independent, charismatic, and passionate woman who cared deeply not only for her family, and friends, but also animals who were in need. Her smile and addictive laughter left impressions on everyone that had the chance to meet her fire-cracker personality.

She is succeeded by two children, Marlena and Marek with families, four grandchildren, Krzysztof and family, Klaudia, Karolina, Beniamin, two great-grandchildren, Ewelina and Krzysztof, and her loving cats.
