Alicia's obituary
Like everyone who was touched by the joy, attention, and kindness that our mom, Alicia, brought to the world, we are still processing her sudden passing. We know that for those who will be able to join us this weekend to remember her, we want this to be a celebration of her and the joy and light she gave us (of course, there will be a lot of crying and sadness as well). We believe that not only would she not have had the patience to sit through a long, drawn out wake, she would be so angry to have missed an opportunity to party with all her loved ones in one spot. So, this weekend, we invite you to share memories, stories, laugh, cry -- whatever you think she would have gotten a kick out of and maybe even shed a tear over.
We have posted a brief obituary below and will expand on it in the days to come.
