Alicia's obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alicia Adison (Alfaro) a woman who lived loudly, loved fiercely, and left behind a life full of color, undeniable warmth. She passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 55, leaving behind her beloved son, Wyatt Saunders, who was the center of her world—even if she sometimes struggled to show it in all the conventional ways,
Alicia was a woman of great character and spirit. Known for her vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and unapologetic authenticity, she was a force of nature whose presence lit up every room she entered. A true original, she lived life on her own terms, never afraid to speak her mind and always embracing her lively nature. Whether at a family gathering or on a simple afternoon out, she knew how to make an entrance—and leave a lasting impression.
Alicia was many things, often a little stubborn, sometimes selfish, and always just a little chaotic. But beneath the whirlwind was a woman with a heart too big for this world. She gave what she had, and when she didn’t have it, she gave anyway—especially for her son, whose laughter and love kept her going through dark times. She was a single mother who fought hard, even when the odds were against her. Life didn’t always go as planned, but she faced it with grit, and a sharp tongue that spared no one—least of all herself. She messed up sometimes. She said the wrong things. She made decisions that didn’t make sense to anyone but her. But she never stopped trying, and she never stopped loving.
Those who knew her best remember her fierce love for her son, there was nothing she would do for him. Alicia was the kind of person who never missed a chance to share whatever she could. Her laugh could fill a room. Her presence was unforgettable. She could drive you crazy and make you laugh until you cried—sometimes in the same conversation. She was imperfect in all the most beautiful, human ways.
While we mourn the loss of this incredible woman, we will forever cherish the memories of her bold, loving spirit. Alicia's passing has taught us the importance of finding joy in the everyday moments, and of sharing that joy with others.
A celebration of her life will be held at [Time, Date, Location]. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to [charity or cause important to Alicia], a cause she deeply cared about.
