Alice Oyos, 91, of Lemon Grove, California, passed away on December 16, 2023.  Alice was born on April 11, 1932, to Tom and Ruth Castelllanos in Lemon Grove, California. After graduating from Grossmont High School in 1950, she landed her first job as a clerk for S.S.Kresge department store in downtown San Diego.

In 1947, while in her freshman year at Grossmont High School, she met Raymond Oyos, and they wed in 1953, going on to have 5 children, Raymond, Lydia, Terri, Phillip, and Jim.   Alice was predeceased by her parents Tom and Ruth Castellanos, brother Robert Castellanos, sisters Angie Oyos, Gloria Campbell, husband Raymond Oyos, and Daughter Lydia Oyos. She is survived by sons Raymond, Phillip, Jim, and daughter Terri Dahlstrom. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Visitation will be held on January 2, 2024, from 4 to 8 pm at Erickson Anderson Mortuary in La Mesa California. A funeral mass will be held January 3, 2024, at St John Catholic Church in Lemon Grove California at 10:00 am.
