I am not sure I ever got to meet Alice, but I got to eat lots of the great leftovers from Oyos Family gatherings when I shared an apartment in Oceanside with Phil & little Phil way back in the late 80's. There was this salad made with peas and cheese and mayonnaise........ tasted like pure love on a fork. Who made that??

I lost touch with Phil over 30 years ago and look for him ever five years or so with no luck. Today I find this obituary. I am saddened to see he has lost his mother recently. I know this pain and it hurts real bad. Although only an observer of this family, I was deeply impressed at their closeness and the joy they often shared with each other.
