To Deacon Frank and family I am truly sorry for your loss. Alice was a gentle and pure person. Always smiling helping out at the church functions. From my days at St. Joachim church as a kid to adulthood everywhere I saw Alice I saw Frank. The two were inseparable and such a beautiful testimony to the Sacrament of marriage. I loved running into them all over the five towns the cutest sweetest couple.
My condolences to the Bono family. Deacon Frank I’m so very sorry for your lost. I can not imagine how that feels. Alice was truly one of the best. Everything she did was with a sweet smile. She touched many lives in a positive manner. She was a gentle soul that always helped others at St. Joachim. I will never forget when we “a group of women” got together to prepare for the Diamond Ball. We made baskets wrapped them and they all needed a bow. Well, Alice made the best bows and when I told her I’ll help you with the bows. She turned and said with a smile “ok thanks Anne Marie”. Well that was when I realized how very hard it was to “make” a bow. I being the perfectionist I am was a little flustered. Here’s my bow, and here’s Alice’s bow, puffy, big, really nice. I’ll just say mine were ok but Alice’s bows were gorgeous. She tells me with a big smile “Anne Marie let me show you”. Well, let’s just say I still today will make the prettiest bows. I now belong to St judes in Mastic Beach and during the sale of Christmas wreaths. Here I am fixing all the bows before we sell them, that the others would say wow that looks nice, big difference, can you fix this one. Let’s just say now whenever we do anything that has bows involved, I get a phone call. Alice’s gentle heart touched many. She truly was an angel on earth... “earth angel”. Until we meet again. Rest In Peace 🙏🏼
