Alfred's obituary
We deeply mourn the passing of Alfred Remarais, who left us on January 5, 2024 due to a long illness, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. Born on March 30, 1972, Alfred was a man of great character, known for his politeness, strict discipline, warm nature, and kind heart.
Alfred completed his high school in 1990 from Petion-Ville, Haiti. He then pursued his higher studies in Accounting from the esteemed Institut Des Hautes Etudes Commerciales Et Économiques, Avenue John Brown, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, graduating in 1992. He first got married to Nadine Meyant then got married to Marie Chilove Angé. Alfred's professional journey began in the same year at the Singer Company, Auto Meca, and Blindasa. After two decades, Alfred moved to New York, NY in 2012, then to Indianapolis, IN in 2014 to live with his mother (Jeanette Remarais Chery). In the same year, he joined Foxconn, and later in 2018, he started working at Jusda as a technician along side his Older brother.
Alfred's guiding principles were simple yet profound. He was a Christian, liked listening to Christian music, surfing the internet and liked working on cars. He also believed in doing right by people and always showing respect for elders. His life was a testament to these values, and he shared this wisdom with those around him.
Alfred is survived by his wife Marie Chilove Angé Remarais, with his two sons Alvin Junior Remarais and Alfred Remarais Jr., his mother Jeanette Remarais Chery, and his Older brother Frantz Remarais Sr. He was a beloved uncle to Costabelle J. Remarais, Frantz Remarais Jr., Melody C. A. Remarais, Faith F Remarais, and Joel F Remarais. All of his family members will miss him immensely.
Alfred's life was marked by dedication, love, and kindness. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. His legacy of respect and kindness lives on in his family and all the lives he touched.
