With heavy hearts, we lovingly remember Alfred DeLaO, who passed away on January 15, 2025. Born on March 31, 1977, in Aurora, Illinois, Alfred was the cherished son of Primitivo and Norberta DeLaO. He is survived by his two beloved children, Annastacya and Primitivo DeLaO, grandson Joaquin DeLaO, former wife Erika DeLaO, father Primitivo, stepmother Esmeralda DeLaO, siblings Sandra Cruz, Tony DeLaO, Leticia Cruz, and girlfriend Sonja Antoon.

Alfred had a vibrant spirit that touched everyone he met. Known as the life of the party, he had an incredible taste in music and an unmatched ability to make people laugh. These qualities live on in his son, Primitivo. His intelligence and sharp wit shine brightly in his daughter, Annastacya. Alfred was a proud and devoted father whose children—and now his grandson Joaquin—were the greatest joys of his life.

As the youngest of his siblings, Alfred held a special place in his family. Fondly remembered as the “baby,” he had a knack for getting his way, and his family indulged him with love and laughter—most of the time! He was a loving son, a loyal brother, a caring father, and a proud grandfather who cherished his family above all else.

Alfred was a man of deep faith. A devout believer in Christ, his family takes solace in knowing that they will be reunited with him one day in the Father’s kingdom. He now joins his mother, Norberta, and his brother, Jose “Ali” Elahmer, in eternal peace.

Alfred’s legacy is one of love, joy, and faith, and he will forever be missed by all who knew him.
