On October 8th, 2021, Norman died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 30th, 1936 to the late Alfred Norman Beaulieu Sr. and Marie (Gaouette) Beaulieu, both of Chicopee, Norman attended high school in Chicopee before enlisting in the Army near the end of the Korean War. Norman was a Private 1st class and completed his two-year tour as a tank operator in Germany. Norman worked as a Welder retiring from Pratt and Whitney more than 20 years ago. In Normans free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at the Quabin Reservoir with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Norman also liked to collect coins, very old money, along with other antiques. He very much enjoyed going and walking the tag sales in Western Mass. Lastly, Norman was known as a family man, spending time making dinner or just watching TV with them brought him a lot of joy. Norman is predeceased by his parents, two of his adoring children, David N. Beaulieu (1998) & Maryanne (Beaulieu) Eddy (2012) and a granddaughter Cassandra Silva (1999). Norman leaves behind the love of his life, and lifelong partner of 66 years, Joyce (Tebo) Beaulieu of Belchertown, his daughter Patricia Silva, of Westfield, Glen Beaulieu and his wife Jackieh, of Ludlow. Norman also leaves many grandchildren, Jeff Silva and his wife Sandra, of West Springfield, Jeremy Kele and his husband Joseph of East Longmeadow, Craig Beaulieu and his wife Alyssa of Raynham, Laura Kele of South Hadley, Steven Beaulieu of Agawam, Candy Kele of Chicopee, Charlene Beaulieu of Agawam, Nicholas Silva of Westfield, and Kaitlyn Silva of Westfield, and Oscar Beaulieu of Ludlow. Finally, Normans great-grandchildren, David F., David B., Hunter, Bryson, Tyler, Emma, Kayden, Kenzie, Gwen, Parker, Troy, Drew & Eric Jacob. Norman’s family will miss him endlessly but will gain strength knowing that he has been reunited with his loved ones in Heaven. Services for Norman will be private for the family only. He will be interned at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Norman’s name to a charity of your choice.
