Aleyamma Skaria (born January 28, 1920), daughter of M.T. Thomas and Aleyamma Thomas, peacefully passed on January 11, 2024, just shy of her 104th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor P.C. Skaria, and her son-in-law, Pastor Cherian Kothakery. Aleyamma is survived by her daughters, Saramma Cherian, and Aleyamma (Simon) Panicker, and her grandchildren, Sam (Gracy) Samuels, Benny (Reena) Cherian, Saveen (George) Philip, and Pastor Samuel (Sheba) Panicker. She also leaves behind 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Aleyamma was a strong-minded, dedicated Christian, who will be missed by many. Aleyamma's viewing will be held on January 19th from 6:30 - 9 PM, and the funeral service will be held from 10 AM - 1 PM the following day. Both viewing and funeral services will be held at Tabernacle Pentecostal Church (10509 Greenwood Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059).
