Surviving are her parents, Sheila and David Johnston, Pekin IL, maternal grandparents, Harvey and Nita Petty, Goodfield, IL, paternal grandparents, Glenn and Ann Johnston, Middleton, Wisconsin, 2 brothers, Jacob Johnston, Los Angeles, CA, Maxwell (fiancé Arabella Wiley) Johnston, Madison, Wisconsin, and her furry brother and sister, Dja, Willow and Artemis. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alexis is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Irene Petty.
Alex was an exceptional human being with outstanding abilities in caring for others. Her compassion for other people and her desire to please was always on display. Her intellect allowed her to solve problems for others with kindness and compassion. Her life was short but meaningful, she touched many lives and she will be missed by all who knew her.
