Alexis Gabriela Cruz, 29, of Henry County, Georgia, passed away on February 6, 2026.

Alex was known for his humor and his ability to make anyone laugh. He had a lighthearted spirit and was always trying to bring joy to those around him. He loved deeply and fiercely.

He was a loving and devoted father to his two children, Nalani Cruz and Kovi Cruz. Being a dad was one of his greatest joys. He was also a loving partner, amazing uncle, a proud son, a protective brother, and a loyal friend.

Alex was a hardworking man who always found a way to provide for his family. He took pride in making sure the people he loved were cared for, and he never hesitated to step up when someone needed him. His strength, loyalty, and big heart defined the way he lived his life.

He is survived by his children, Nalani Cruz and Kovi Cruz; his partner Shana Miles; his mother, Kelly Coursey; his father, Alex Cruz; his stepmother, Elizabeth Cruz; his brothers, Romey Focio, Julian Cruz, and Xavier Cruz; his sisters, Gabriella Cruz and Julissa Focio; and his grandparents, Jami Davis, Sherry Coursey, and Noralinda Domenech.

His laughter, strength, and love will live on through all who knew him.
