Alexes's obituary
Alexes Kehaulani Santiago, fondly known as Kehau and Lexi, passed away on February 18, 2023. She was 34 years old. Born on October 5, 1988, in Honolulu, HI, USA, she was a loving and caring daughter, sister, and mother, graduate of Nanakuli High & Intermediate School, also attended Aiea Intermediate, Waimalu Elementary, Ke Kula Kaiapuni 'o Anuenue, Ali'iolani Elementary, Ka'iulani Elementary and Seagull Kalihi Schools.
Alexes is survived by her mother, Kathleen Giffard, step-father, Val Dezafra, brothers Bernard and Duan Kalilikane and Ramic Santiago, her sisters Dorothy (Chu-chu) Kalilikane Young, Adrienne Santiago and Arien Dezafra, son's Lucian (Po'okela), Tobias (Ka'imiloa), and Alejandro (Mo'okini) Santiago, and her daughter Tesla (Kehaulani) Santiago, Papa, James Giffard. She was predeceased by her father, Bernard R. Santiago and grandma, Lenora Giffard.
Throughout her life, Alexes pursued a career as a manager in various establishments and spent her free time enjoying her hobbies, which included art, cooking, listening to music, hula and swimming. She was always loving, caring, and considerate, embodying these traits in her personal and professional life.
Alexes will be forever remembered for her kindness and warmth, as well as the lasting impact she had on those who had the pleasure of knowing her and of course we can't ever forget her small kine imbalance thanks to her Libra scales. Alexes will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
We will be having a Celebration of Life at one of her favorite beaches, Nanakuli Beach Park on August 19, 2023 from 12pm - 5pm. Invites will be going out soon. Please RSVP to ensure we get an accurate headcount of attendees.
