With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Alexandra "Sasha" Tarelkine on December 8, 2023. Sasha, born on November 7, 2009, was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. Her bright and warm personality likened to a ray of sunshine, will be sorely missed but fondly remembered.

A brilliant freshman at Brooklyn Tech High School, Sasha showcased great promise and potential. Her love for music and thirst for exploring the world are part of the dynamic legacy she leaves behind. Beyond her interests and academic achievements, Sasha was sensitive to unfairness and always ready to support others in their darkest moments.

She is survived by her loving mother, Lyudmyla Tarelkine, her father, Alexandre Tarelkine, and her sister, Daria Tarelkine, and a host of friends and family touched by her contagious smile and love for life. She enriched every life she touched, and her absence will undoubtedly create a void that can never be filled.

A viewing for Sasha will be held on December 15, 2023, at 9:00 PM at 152 E 28th St. As we gather to commemorate her life, may we strive to perpetuate her invincible spirit and unwavering kindness that characterized Sasha's vibrant yet tragically short life. However, her memory will linger in our hearts and minds, ensuring that Sasha will never be forgotten.
