Alexandra Genevieve Leon, August 22, 1997 to March 17, 2026.  

Alexandra, a respected and beloved sister and friend passed on March 17, 2026. Born on August 22 to Catherine and Javier Leon, she was the missing piece to their small family. 

Growing up, Alexandra had a love and compassion for animals that was nurtured and encouraged by her family. It led her to attending OSU College of Veterinary Sciences after graduating high school, where she graduated with both her bachelor’s and master’s. She continued pursuing her love of all things animal and nature, volunteering with multiple support groups and wild life conservation efforts. 

Alexandra spent every moment of her free time out doors or traveling to new cities and countries, reveling in the beauty of the world and all its creatures, big and small. 

When she was home, she spent time with her family and friends, and became an honorary Aunt to her best friend’s two daughters, a role she held very near and dear to her heart.

Preceded in death by her mother and father, Alexandra is survived by her older brother Tobias Leon, aunts, uncles, cousin, and friends she considered family. 

In lieu, of flowers, we ask that everyone donate time or resources to their local animal shelter. 

Funeral services will be held on privately on Wednesday, March 25, at 10AM.
