It’s been a year and I still miss Alex each and every day. I listen to the phone messages. I never erased from Alex , I look at the text messages I received from him. And which I know makes him very happy, I’ve become a Grateful Dead fan. I wish we had had more time but hopefully someday we’ll be able to pick up where we left off.

Rest easy shredder ❤️ you were there for me during the most transitional time of my life.. you were so kindhearted and easy going it would help me relax during those stressful times.. in that time we developed a friendship like brothers.. RIP Alex, I will always remember our friendship in highschool, and many fun times working at Chick-fil-A.  Alex, you were one of the kindest people in the world; brave, forgiving, humorous. You truly made this dark world brighter, and I am so grateful to have known you. May the spirit of your resilience be boundless and limitless, and ever inspiring.
