We will miss you a whole lot AL. You were always one to help whoever needed help, leaving no one out.
The new viewing and funeral date due to weather is rescheduled for January 15, 2025 at the same time 10AM until about noon. Thereafter he will be transported to his final resting place in Florence, AL Wesley Chapel next to his mother. He was quite popular on base and worked for the US Army and was still employed when he passed. He was a mentor and a leader who worked in many capacities as a general and electrical Engineer at Redstone Arsenal where he and his wife work and have done so for many years, both he and his wife Olivia began their employment so long ago, Fox Army Medical was still a hospital and the Fox Den restaurant was open. He was a Scoutmaster, mentor for robotics, with the 100 Black Men of Greater Huntsville Chapter mentoring youth, and will be sorely missed. Members of First Missionary Baptist Church, this power couple will be missed by many.
He lived a great end of life for ten years with his wife Olivia. She is a well-known and proven technology leader, businesswoman and pioneer in executive concierge services where she has made local newspapers several times being featured on pioneering innovations in business, medical, technology, transportation, and many other industries, is a former US Navy "Doc" and a distinguished US Navy Hospital Corps member. She extended several times by the grace of God. His wife and now widow-Olivia Roach, who he often referred to as his "Angel."
