> Alexander leaves behind his beloved wife Mary (Canning) Perzan of 52 years of marriage. In addition his 3 children, Patricia Gosselin, Alexander Perzan III, Lisa Perzan-Mendieta, his son-in-law's Galo Mendieta and Daniel Gosselin, he leaves his 7 grandchildren Samantha, Daniel II, Chelsie, Jessica, Alexander IV, Autumn, and Isabella. He also leaves his 5 siblings, Eleanor Hall, Judith Bifolk, Carol Strona, William Perzan, Patricia Branin and 11 nieces and one nephew.

> Alexander served in the Army in the Vietnam war from 1966-1967. When returning from the war he was greeted by his wife Mary and his 10 month old daughter Patricia that he met for the first time. He could often be found at the karate studio where he was a well respected karate sensei for seven years, and remained friends with several of his karate students.

> In 2006, he retired from Dexters, now Allstrom paper company in Windsor locks Ct after 32 years as a machine tender with a perfect attendance award.
>
> He was a stern man that could intimidate some people who didn't know him but deep down he was a generous man with a kind soul that loved his family with all his heart. Alexander loved to debate politics with anyone that engaged that topic with him, but had to be told quite often by his wife Mary to change the subject!
>
> In Alexander's opinion garlic was the cure and answer to everything and ate a few cloves everyday. He was often teased about his aromatic odor.

> A Mass will be held in his honor on June 8th at 10am at St. Peters church located at 99 Sand Hill Road, South Windsor Ct. 06074. In addition, the family invites all friends and family to attend a Celebration of Life gathering from 12 noon-4pm at the Elks Club located at 138 N Maple St., Enfield Ct. 06082 where lunch will be provided. We look forward to hearing your stories and happy memories of your times with Alex and please feel free to bring any photos or mementos you may have to share.
