Alexander Lee McClelland, 21, of Desloge, Missouri, passed away on March 3, 2025, in a car accident near Bixby, Missouri, alongside his girlfriend, Kersten Reuter of Viburnum.

Alex graduated from Viburnum High School and worked at Doe Run. He had a generous spirit and often gave his time to help others. He loved his dog, Skyler, and enjoyed solving escape rooms, fixing cars, and assembling items for friends and family. He also cherished time spent at his grandparents’ stable, where he frequently helped out.

He is survived by his mother, Jessica Weger of Cuba, Missouri; father, J.L. McClelland; sister, Hailey Cue of Warren County, Missouri; nieces Lily Henson of Wright City and Dakota Crocker of St. Louis; grandparents Mike and Nancy Krenski of Wright City; uncle Scott Nelson and aunt Tammi of West Plains; aunt Jennifer Thomas and uncle Rod of St. Charles; uncle Adam Krenski of St. Louis; as well as many great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2025, from noon to 4 p.m. at 331 North Fifth Street in St. Charles, Missouri.  This is an OPEN HOUSE EVENT and NO RSVP IS REQUIRED on the Ever Loved Site.

Alex’s kindness and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
