Alexander's obituary
Alexander E. Dragoo, age 35, of Mokena, passed away suddenly on November 14, 2022 at OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Evergreen Park. He was born on March 9, 1987 in Olympia Fields, Illinois the son of Timothy B. Dragoo and Dawn M. McLaughlin.
Alex is survived by his father, Timothy Dragoo; mother, Dawn Kodatt; half siblings Loïc Dragoo, Emilie Dragoo, and Hayden Kodatt; grandmother, Paddy Burns, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; his former spouse of seven years, Christine Lange; and many friends. Alex was preceded in death by his brother, Elliott Dragoo.
Alex worked at Darvin Distribution Center as a Lift Truck Driver for several years and also at The Center’s Children’s Farm in Palos Park, Illinois. He became a phlebotomist and worked at a few hospitals and nursing homes in the area. Alex had a passion for helping others.
Alex loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, camping, and traveling to Ireland, his favorite place. He had many hobbies: archery, woodworking, and metal work. He had a vibrant and energetic personality. Alex was a kind, generous, and hardworking man who his friends and family loved to be around.
A private service was held for Alex at the Wayside Chapel, The Center, Palos Park on March 18, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Center are appreciated.
