Alexander's obituary

Alexander John Brooks Jr., age 35, passed away after a motorcycle crash on Wednesday, June 14th, in Powell, TN.

He was born in Connecticut on January 6th,1988 to Michelle Rahrig (Hulbert) and Alexander Brooks Sr. He grew up in Milford, CT on Summit Ave where he met some of his closest friends to date. He was a tradesman, who mostly studied plumbing. He moved to Middletown, CT where he truly cultivated his love for motorcycles and learned to ride with his family. He lived in various states throughout his life and finally settled down in Powell, TN.

He will always be remembered by his contagious laugh, generosity and the ability to always help someone in need.

Alex is survived by his daughter, Dakota Brooks, his Mother, Michelle Rahrig, his Father, Alexander Brooks Sr and his siblings, Krystal Mount, Johnathan Brooks and Brandon Brooks.

Alex had a curiosity for life and despite battling depression, he always sought out new adventures. Alex was the one that would find the neat things in life and rush to share them with others. Alex had a few hobbies including pool (billiards), making dreamcatchers, fishing, tattooing and working on motorcycles. Alex was always the one to inspire others to get up and do something; whether it be fishing, hiking, boating, riding, playing a game of cards, dancing to music or even just talking. His soul was real and his heart was pure.

Alex also had many nicknames through life, from when he was a child as Mr. Know-it-all to when he was an adult such as Sanka, Bro, Xander or Lil' Alex. He created communities by being a social bridge, intertwining lives together that on a normal day would not mingle. He will dearly be missed in a world that needs souls like his.
