With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alesa Marie Ross, a beacon of kindness and unconditional love, who departed this world too soon on October 18, 2024. Born on November 19, 1993, Alesa touched countless lives with her warmth, acceptance, and tenacious spirit during her almost 31 years on earth.
Alesa's personality was as vibrant as a sunbeam, marked by her friendly demeanor, loving nature, kindness, and an infectious happiness that radiated to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was truly the embodiment of acceptance and love, teaching those around her the value of embracing those different from us. Alesa was a living testament to the power of non-judgement, promoting the importance of loving others unconditionally.
Against all odds, Alesa's greatest accomplishment was defying the medical prognosis given to her at a tender age. Doctors stated she would live only three years, yet she courageously battled on for almost 31 years, leaving many in the medical community astounded by her resilience.
Alesa's legacy is one of relentless love and sweetness. She was a joy to everyone she met and was loved dearly in return. Her persistent fight against adversity and her persistent positivity will forever inspire those who knew her and will continue to echo in their hearts.
Alesa is survived by many. Her mother and father, Kimberly and Lanny Ellison, who stood by her side throughout her journey. Her 5 brothers and sisters, Rebekah Thonginh, Amanda Devlin, Darin Ross, Alan Ross, Michael Ross. and multiple nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate Alesa's life will be held on October 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM at 4247 E. Broadway, Claypool, Arizona at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Miami Ward. Prior to the service, a viewing will be held at the same location at 9:00 AM. As we gather to bid farewell, we will remember Alesa's love, courage, and the priceless lessons she imparted on us all.
The loss of Alesa is immeasurable, but so too, is the love and light she has left behind. We take comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. May Alesa Ross rest in everlasting peace.
