It was an honor to know Lennie. From humble beginnings to pharmaceutical lab professional to bank executive to econ professor. From sister, merit scholar, mother, wife, mother-in-law, aunt, grandma, friend— Lennie is my real-life renaissance woman. She loved the life she lived and lived the life she loved. Michel, sons and family, her works on earth are complete, but her light glows eternally in every life she touched. RIParadise my fellow NCC alumna.

I will cherish the memory of Lennie for as long as I breathe. Her effervescence, love, and patience was second to none. Lennie’s passing is a huge loss to our family but the family of heaven has gained a true Saint.  God bless and comfort the hearts of Dr. Mike, James, Jr., Gabriel,  Raphael, daughters-in-love, step daughters and step sons, the grandbabies, brothers, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and church family who loved her.  Always, Veeta (Pete)
