Aunt Lynnie such a great person. Her and Uncle Red, Robyn and Glen were the only extended family I knew when I was a young child since I was the first Richie kid born in California.  My Father, Richard and Mother, Nila migrated to Chula Vista in 1959 after a vacation visit to see Red and Lynnie, and I was born shortly after in 1960.  Aunt Lynnie always held a special place in my heart growing up because of that. I remember days where the parents would go out and leave me with Grams and Glen. We had great times building forts in his room with blocks and then trying to destroy each other’s forts by throwing golf balls.... One funny memory I had with Aunt Lynnie dates way back. One day she came by our house in the morning, and my mom was not having a good day so when she knocked on the door my mom did not want to answer. Well, me being all of 5 or 6 I couldn’t understand why Mom didn't want to answer so she told me we are playing hide and seek from Aunt Lynnie and told me to keep the secret. The very next time we were all together and being a 6-year-old, I blurted out that secret, my mom was so embarrassed, and Aunt Lynnie was laughing so much.  All the times we were together after, the story was always brought up for a good laugh from the past. Just remembering Aunt Lynnie is the last of that generation in the Richie family leaving all us cousins as the senior generation now...... I know we will all miss her and think about her often.

Sending lots of love and prayers to her beloved and cherished family.

Love from Allan and Alicia Richie

I met Glen, her son in the 4th grade in Chula Vista. So I have know Lynnie and the rest of the family since 1968. What a great person she was, always very kind to me with lots of good conversations. After they moved to north county in the mid 70’s I only visited with her a couple times a year, family get togethers, holidays and lake Shasta trips. Always enjoyed my time with her. RIP Lynnie
My heartfelt condolences to your family.  She was so good to me when I was kid.  She always made me feel welcome with that lovely smile on her face.  Rest easy with Red.  💜
