Born on August 15, 1980, Alena was a beacon of light in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her generous, witty, and contagious personality spread joy and laughter wherever she went.

Remembered lovingly by her sister, Acacia Gilmer, Alena's spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her mother, Julia Gilmer, predeceased her and no doubt welcomed her with open arms into heaven.

Throughout her exceptional life, Alena made remarkable impacts. Her greatest joy and accomplishment was being a mother to a beautiful and loving daughter. The remarkable qualities of Alena live on in her daughter as a testimony to the profound influence she had.

Alena's life lessons were simple yet profound; she believed in loving hard and giving effortlessly. She taught by example, and those around her were inspired by her unconditional love and selflessness.
