Alejandra “Anda” Florendo, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Norfolk, Virginia. Born in Carigara, Philippines, Anda brought warmth, quiet strength, and deep generosity to everyone who knew her.

A passionate gardener and avid reader, Anda found joy in life’s simplest pleasures. But what truly set her apart was her boundless selflessness—known to give to others even when it meant going without herself. Her family and friends remember her as a woman of uncommon kindness and quiet grace.

Anda is survived by her beloved son Jay, cherished granddaughter Lauren, and ten devoted siblings. Her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to honor her life at the following services:

• Family Viewing: June 30 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Virginia

• Wake: July 1, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

• Funeral Mass: July 2, at 11:00 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church

• Burial Service: July 2, at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens

Her generous spirit and loving heart leave a lasting imprint. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
