Albeza Fonseca Florez 74, of Cypress, TX, passed away on Tuesday August 31st as a result of ongoing health conditions.

Albeza was born on January 3rd, 1947 to parents Baudel and Enriqueta Fonseca. On January 6, 1968, three years after graduating from Edinburg high school she married  Felix Florez, and had  3 children, Scarlett Florez, Solange Florez and Felix Florez II. she decided to dedicate her career to secondary education  efforts as a highschool Spanish teacher and retired as a counselor. Albeza excelled at propping up her students and supporting them through their various academic  passions and difficulties in their lives.  she made it her mission to improve the quality of education in the lives of others.

Albeza was an avid lover of literature, and when she wasn’t filling her own home with wisdom and knowledge, she could be found in her office reading books or writing quotes. We will miss her greatly.

She was predeceased by her parents Enriqueta & Baudel Fonseca and is survived by her husband, children, siblings and grand kids:  Felix, Scarlett, Solange, Felix II, Bob, Ramiro, Lety, Archer, Avery, Felix III, Franco and Favian.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the alzheimer or diabetic foundations. There will be a celebration of life Saturday September 25th from 5-9pm at:
