Background
We are raising funds to support the family and loved ones of Albertano Rocha following a heartbreaking and unexpected loss.
Albertano Rocha suddenly passed away on May 29, 2025, after an unpredictable accident. He was just 29 years old. His absence leaves a tremendous void in the lives of everyone who knew him — his family, friends, coworkers, and especially the young people he mentored.
Albert was a cherished friend to many, a dedicated partner to fiancé, a loving son, brother, and a devoted father. His 3-year-old daughter was the center of his world. He proudly showed her off to everyone and loved spending time with her, drawing, doing crafts, and playing together.
Albert’s family is now facing the unthinkable burden of covering the costs of the funeral and burial services. His partner and daughter also need our support during this time, as Albert played a key role in supporting their household and future.
Albert was a supervisor at the San Jose Conservation Corps, where he was dedicated to service for the last six years. He wasn’t just a colleague — he was a role model, a leader, and a source of support for everyone around him. As a mentor to many young people navigating life’s challenges, Albert created a sense of family and belonging. Members of his crew often described their crew as “a little family” — one where everyone had each other’s backs, thanks to his guidance and care.
Albert spent his days leading his crew to steward the parks, forests, and natural spaces we all love. His work helped protect residents from wildfires and offset the effects of climate change, leaving a lasting impact on our community and the planet.
Beyond his professional contributions, Albert’s spirit was unforgettable. His laughter was contagious, his smile could brighten any room, and his kindness was limitless. He always prioritized others over himself, was quick to offer help, check in with friends, and ensure no one ever felt left out.
How You Can Help
If you are able to contribute financially, your donation will go directly toward funeral expenses and support Albert’s daughter and family during this devastating time.
If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign to help us increase its reach. Every share expands the circle of love and support surrounding Albert’s family.
We’re also collecting photos, videos, and written memories to create a digital journal that will be shared with Albert’s family — especially his daughter — to preserve the incredible impact he made. If you have something to share, please contribute a memory and help us tell the full story of Albert’s life, love, and legacy.
Carrying His Light Forward
We must continue to remember and share all of the joyful, loving, and inspiring moments we had with Albert. Though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit lives on in every life he touched. The kindness he showed, the guidance he gave, and the love he poured into his family and community will never fade.
We believe Albert is now at peace, watching over us. His memory will guide us, comfort us, and continue to influence the way we treat each other — with generosity, care, and laughter. In this time of sorrow, holding onto those memories will help us heal and remind us that Albert’s light still shines in all of us.
