My mama passed very suddenly. The very same day my brother's wife also stopped breathing. (Sister-in-law was kept on life support for several days prior to then having to "pull the plug"). Neither of them had any funeral arrangements made . The funeral home required a 1/3 down the day we were there making the arrangements. A "friend" offered to allow us to use his credit card to do so. A week after mama's service he is demanding his $3100. My father is alive but lives off of Social Security Retirement and my brother just had to do endure the entire cost of his wife's service. I myself am disabled and survive on Disability . There are no other family members that are able to help. I understand the "friend" doesn't want to get stuck with finance charges. I just don't know what else I can do. I've never reached out and asked for a "handout", I'm just not that kind of person. But I don't see any other option at this point. I haven't been able to grieve for my mama or my Sister-in-law for this weighs heavy on my heart & Mind. Contribute
