I got to know Buddy very well as a child. The way he treated me was unlike anything I had known. His kindness and generosity changed my life. What he did for me is impossible to ever describe. I will never forget the Phillies games, riding in the back of the Coast van with Buddy and Brian, the slices of Sams at the counter when it was just us, the way you made me laugh, the way you were never angry with me. I was never a bother to you, you made me feel special and welcome.  You looked out for me.  The night I went to the hospital you rubbed my head and said it would be ok.  Your patience and goodness were inexhaustable and so obvious to anyone who came near you.  Buddy never missed an opportunity to help someone.  Once when we were getting ice cream Buddy saw a women in the roadway trying to be hit.  He talked her down and saved her.  But his kindness in the smallest moments was just as strong.  God's light always shined through him and he brightened thousands of thousands of days for so many.  I would give anything to hear you call me barney again or watch baseball with you.  I miss you so much.
Prayer for the family. Buddy and I became friends years ago when he was a realtor. He has helped me over the years. Loved seeing him at all the concerts in Wildwood . We shared a lot of good time . You will be missed my friend. RIP and you will always  be my angel.

Met Buddy about 30 years ago and being that off shore locals have a contentious relationship with islanders, Buddy and Maryann never treated me or my family with nothing but kindness and respect. Sorry for your family's loss and RIP my friend.

Buddy was The Best! I worked with him at Green's Liquors in the 80s and Stayed Friends with him ever Since. He was a Good Man with a Great Heart and a Great Personality, I will Miss Him Very Much. RIP Buddy🙏🙏 from Jack in the Box❤️
I had the privilege of meeting Buddy at the Gazette Leader while in high school and later broadcast sports games with him on the radio.  Buddy brought a level of kindness and enthusiasm that made the time we spent together memorable and fun.  Even when our careers parted ways, Buddy always reached out to recall a funny story or experience and have a good laugh.  Our community and local sports were advanced by Buddy's passion and personality and for that, I am forever grateful.
So sorry for your loss🙏. Buddy was a good man and he helped a lot of people . He will be missed.
