Albert's obituary

Albert George Maguire
Of Pewaukee WI, age 80, passed Thursday August 27, 2020 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Born October 1, 1939 in Lurgan Ireland. Albert was raised during the hardships of the religious disputes between the Catholics and Protestants. He had eventually made his way to the US to stay with an aunt in New Jersey. He soon joined the US Army and obtained his citizenship. After his service he was invited into the home of a fellow soldier who was from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. From there he soon met his wife of 50 years LaVonne (Datthyn) Maguire. They were married July 24th 1970 in Albert's home town of Largan Ireland. They started their life together in West Allis, Wisconsin. Albert worked as an engineer and they soon moved to Waukesha, Wi where they raised and grew their family. Albert is preceded in death by both of his parents and life long friend and brother-in-law Keny. He is survived by his wife LaVonne Maguire, Four children James Maguire, Albert Maguire Jr., Heather (Brian) George, and Nora (Timothy) Bopp. His six grandchildren Samantha, Sebastian, Nathan, Shayla, Brandon, and Amethyst. And his great-grandson Allen. Albert will be remembered as a hard working man who loved his family unconditionally, being strong willed and proud of his country, his heritage, and his family.
The family will be laying him to rest Friday, September 18th, 2020. Then they will be having a memorial service for all those who loved Albert on Saturday, September 19th at the Holiday Inn in Pewaukee on Hwy I94 and 164 the hotel is right off of the freeway next to Thunderbay. The memorial will start at 3pm and go till about 6pm. The family will be providing food and beverages. So please come and celebrate the life of the greatest Irishman and an even greater Grandfather Albert G Maguire.
