It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Lopez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Albert was born on June 24, 1954, and passed away on January 1, 2026. He will be remembered with profound fondness and love by all who were fortunate to know him. Albert's family was the center of his world. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Lopez, his beloved daughters, Elizabeth Ayoubi and Rachel Lopez, and his devoted son, Carlos Lopez. He is also lovingly remembered by his stepchildren, with whom he shared many years of friendship, respect, and meaningful memories. Albert leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren with two more on the way. He was predeceased by his mother, Petra. Albert had a special place in his heart for his faithful canine companion, Kona. 

Albert's personality was remarkable. He was honest whenever he spoke and possessed a phenomenal sense of humor that never failed to bring joy to those around him. Unquestionably, his legacy will be one of unconditional love and strength like no other. Albert's passions were diverse and endearing. His favorite music was classic rock, and he was a dedicated fan of Dragonball Z. He was a long-time supporter of his favorite sports team, the Minnesota Vikings. Albert enjoyed fishing, playing chess, reading his newspaper, and walking in his free time. Albert cared deeply about a variety of causes, demonstrating his generous spirit and compassionate heart. His most significant accomplishment that he was most proud of was his children. Their achievements and happiness were his triumphs, and their sorrows were his deepest pains. He lived by the principle that his family was his greatest treasure, and he showed them his love every day. Albert's life was a testament to his strength, love, and dedication. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him, as we continue to honor his legacy and strive to live by his values.
