Albert Lee Lawton, age 70, passed away on December 31, 2020, in his home in Denmark, SC .

Albert, or Duffy, as most people knew him by, was born on April 9, 1950 to Roycie Lawton and Annie Mae Lawton in Walterboro, SC.

By profession, Albert was a Jack of all trades. He spend his years as a contractor, painter, and general handyman. He was a strong provider for his family and a dependable man, never too busy to help a friend or neighbor in need.

In 1980, Albert married the love of his life, Veronica. Together, they raised a single son, Joshua, and lived together in Middletown, New York. Albert remained there until moving back to South Carolina in 2020, to spend the rest of his days near family.

Albert was predeceased by his devoted wife, Veronica Lawton, who passed away October 10th, 2019 and is survived by his son, Joshua Lawton.
