Uncle Al is not my uncle by blood, however, he treated me as such after I moved here from California and befriended his niece, Kyla. Kyla and her sister Nicki lived with Uncle Al and Aunt Leanne. Uncle Al was always joking around, poking fun, and just all around giving us a hard time. All in good fun. He cracked me up, and it truly hurt my heart when I learned of his passing. When I think of him all I can do is smile. That’s what Uncle Al means to me. 😌
Shay, Joel, Mike, and family,

I ran across AJ's obit yesterday and was so saddened to hear of his passing. It's been so many years since any of us have gotten together. We moved from Sherman in 1976, and then Uncle Albert and Aunt Evelyn passed. I guess the last time we saw you guys was at Evelyn's funeral. You all have my deepest sympathy.
