Albert's obituary

One of our Father’s faithful servant, Reverend Albert Holland was called home on Monday, February 10, 2014, at the Nottingham Regional Rehabilitation Center, Baton Rouge, LA. Albert Holland was born November 19, 1940 to the late Alfred Holland and Oralee Diggs Holland.

He graduated from Southern Methodist University,School of Theology,Dallas,TX on August 9, 1984. He served as pastor of Wesley and Woodlawn United Methodist Churches in Napoleonville,LA for 33 ½ years until his retirement in January 2012. He was also a retired employee of Gulf States Utilities.

Reverend Holland leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Juanita Holland, two daughters, Attorney Gail Cherise Holland and Narcise Nariel James, and one son, Reggie Derozan Holland all of Gonzales, LA; two grandchildren Yasmin Janay and Brandon Kyle Redditt and four great-grand children, one sister, Patricia Holland-Lott, three brothers, Reverend Isaiah (Eliza) Holland, Cleveland (Ella) Holland, and James (Amanda) Holland.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 13,2014, from 5 pm - 8 pm and Friday, February 14,2014,from 9 am - until 10 am religious service time at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 4525 Point Clair Road, St. Gabriel, LA. Interment Church Cemetery.

He preceded in death by his grandparents,parents, three sisters: Leontine H. Lyons, Rebecca H. Thompson, Annie Mae H. Ambeau and one brother Raymond Holland Sr.
