Albert's obituary
In Loving Memory of Albert Gonzalez
February 23, 1960 – May 11, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alberto Gonzalez, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this world on May 11, 2025. Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, and later making his home in Miami, Florida, Albert lived a life filled with creativity, warmth, and a deep devotion to his family.
Albert was a man of many passions. He was a graphic designer for 30 years, art enthusiast and restorer, and an amazing artist. He loved art, cars, comic books, music, movies, baseball, and softball—but above all, he loved being with his family. His children, Adrian Gonzalez and Priscilla Pellerin, were the pride of his life. He supported them fiercely, celebrated every moment with them, and shared his creative spirit with every memory made together.
To his siblings, Aldo Gonzalez and Rosalba Suarez, Albert was someone who never failed to show up when it mattered most. He had a special bond with his nieces and nephews, always offering support, encouragement, and humor. His presence was a steady comfort and his laugh was unforgettable.
Albert had a gentle soul and a creative eye. From the time he was a kid tinkering with old cars in Cuba, to his years as a passionate artist and designer, he never stopped seeing the world through a lens of beauty and imagination. He found joy in restoring classic cars, watching his favorite movies—especially Marvel and Star Wars—and blasting music while sketching or painting. He loved cats and found great joy in the simple things: a good cup of Cuban coffee, a comic book in hand, or restoring a nice classic car.
Those who knew Albert will remember his kindness, his loyalty, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family. He was someone who showed up—at shows, at birthdays, during hard times and celebrations alike. His art and memory lives on through his work, good times, and in the people he inspired.
Albert’s memory will be cherished forever by his children Adrian and Priscilla, his brother Aldo, his sister Rosie, and all those who were fortunate enough to love him and be loved by him.
Rest peacefully, Albert. Your spirit will always be with us; in the colors of a sunset, in the hum of a motor, in the lines of a sketch, and in the love we carry forward.
