Alana Cloyd, 33, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on April 10, 2026, in her hometown. Born on November 2, 1992, in Columbus, Alana lived a life filled with creativity, curiosity, and exploration.

Alana was the daughter of Ellena Edwards and Mark Cloyd and the stepdaughter of Abdulaye Dem. She is survived by her siblings: Porsche’a L. Darling, Aleha Tartt, Tiijan Edwards, and Fatima Edwards. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grace Marie Mullins and James Charles Mullins.

Alana found joy in reading, drawing, traveling, and creating content that celebrated life’s special moments. She had a deep appreciation for art and culture, often immersing herself in music and museums as a way to learn and grow. She approached life with curiosity and an open heart.

Alana’s spirit touched the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for her creativity and for finding beauty in the world.

Her love, spirit, and light will remain with us always.
