Shocked by the news that Alan has passed away, I would like to express my condolences to his family and friends.I got to know Alan when we both worked at Fokker Aircraft some 40 years ago. He was a great inspiration and motivator for me. The steps I have taken in my career began with the lessons I learned from Alan. We stayed in touch over the years. Unfortunately, that is no longer possible!

I wish you much strength in coping with this enormous loss
