Sunday, 2-18-24, we gathered together at Patricia's to honor Alan on this very sad day.  One year ago, 2-18-23, Alan died.  Who can believe this?  How can this tall, handsome, smart, and funny guy be gone?  It's so so unfair to him, his family, and so many other people who just adored him.  I wish his family and friends good health and the emotional fortitude to deal with the monumental loss everyone is experiencing.

No one was luckier than I when Diane Zilz bought the apartment next door to me. Not only is Diane the greatest friend and neighbor ever but she has the most wonderful brother named Alan Lentin who I had the joy of meeting in the early '90/late '80s on Thanksgiving in Alan & family's Montclair, NJ home and then got invited to every family celebration after that. Alan had tons of gas left in his tank on the day he died, and I'm heartbroken that his life was cut short.
