Alan Kershin was born on April 2, 1951, in Kingman, Kansas. He passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 74. A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and true friend, Alan lived a life full of love, kindness, and integrity.
He graduated from The University of Kansas, where he studied from 1969 to 1973. Alan married the love of his life on May 10, 1980, and together they built a family rooted in compassion, loyalty, and joy.
Alan was known for his warm smile, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Alan’s deep Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life. It guided his values, his relationships, and his unwavering belief in love and grace. He was a quiet but powerful example of what it meant to live a life rooted in faith — extending kindness to all, offering help without hesitation, and meeting life’s challenges with strength and peace. His trust in God shaped the way he loved, served, and lived with humility and gratitude.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sonya; his children, Sean, Scott, Ryan, Lauren, Shannon, and Nicole; and his grandchildren, Aiden, Jordan, and Noah — along with countless others whose lives he touched.
